A flashing L means the oil is overcooled. You will often see condensation under the chiller or on the pipes.

Causes and what to check

  • Low oil circulation. Check the suction filter, the oil level and the flow rate.
  • Pump not running properly. Check the pump motor and pump.
  • Oil too thick. High-viscosity oil reduces flow. Kwangrim CIL chillers are rated for VG2 to VG10 lubricating and hydraulic oils.

Parts for this alarm

If oil flow is fine and the L alarm continues, check the control parameters with us. Settings vary by machine builder.

Still showing the alarm?

Call 847-466-5459 or email admin@industrynestparts.com with the alarm code, the chiller model and serial number from the nameplate, your machine model, and the supply voltage and frequency. If you can, press the PARA key and send us the parameter readings shown on the display. That lets us find the cause and the right part on the first call.
