How to Read Aryung Coolant Pump Model Numbers

On By IndustryNest / 0 comments

If you're replacing an Aryung (A-Ryung) coolant pump, the nameplate model number gets you most of the way there. It tells you the motor size, the pump family and, on many models, the immersion depth or head.

The basic pattern

Most numbers read in the same order: ACP, then motor output in watts, then pump type, then a suffix.

Example Motor Type Suffix means
ACP-400F 400 W F, immersion None
ACP-400HF18 400 W HF, higher lift immersion 18 = 180 mm immersion depth
ACP-1100MF 1100 W MF, multistage None
ACP-900HMFS 45 900 W HMFS, multistage high head 45 = delivery head class
ACP-4000HMFD 200V 4000 W HMFD, multistage very high head 200 = delivery head class, V = vertical
ACP-4000HMFD 200H 4000 W HMFD H = horizontal

Letters you may also see

  • S on MF or HF models: a variant of that series, so MF and MFS are not automatically interchangeable. Check immersion depth.
  • 2/2: 200/220 V winding.
  • F at the end of an MF number: flange outlet. No mark means a screw type.

Head changes with frequency

The number on an HMFS or HMFD model usually matches the 60 Hz head. The ACP-1800HMFS 70 is rated at 55 m at 50 Hz and 70 m at 60 Hz. US power is 60 Hz, but imported machines sometimes carry pumps wired for other voltages, so read the plate.

Also written as

The same pump can appear with or without hyphens and spaces: ACP-1100MF, ACP1100MF and ACP 1100MF are one model. Some suppliers also add a phase or voltage code. If a number you've been given doesn't match our listing, send it to us and we'll check it.

What to send us

Send a photo of the nameplate, the voltage and the machine model. We work directly with Aryung and can confirm the match. Browse Aryung coolant pumps or call 847-466-5459.
